Good news folks! A group of Chinese developers have recently released a new jailbreak tool named Pangu and it can be used to jailbreak iOS 8.1. So without wasting any time lets get it into it.
How to jailbreak iOS 8.1 – Pangu:
Before proceeding double check the following check list:
- iTunes must be updated to the latest version.
- Backup the data of your device using iTunes.
- The Pangu jailbreak tool is currently available for Windows only.
- Please remove any passcode protection before commencing. Also turn find my iPhone off from iCloud settings. It is mandatory that turn off passcode and find my iPhone otherwise Pangu will fail in jailbreaking your device.
- If you used OTA(over the air) update service to update your device then please, update your device via iTunes just to be on the safe side.
- It is recommended that your device is charged upto at least 30%.

After launching Pangu you will be greeted with instructions written in Chinese.
Just uncheck the ????PP?? section on the left hand side and then click the bold blue button in the center.
The device reboot several times, Don’t worry its normal.
After the device has been jailbroken you will see a Pangu app on the homescreen of your device However Cydia would have to be installed separately . The instructions to install Cydia after jailbreaking iOS 8 could be found here.
